Gym Matrix was originally started as a mobile service providing gymnastics to schools and pre-schools in the Upper/Lower Hunter Valley areas. 

When attending schools for the Active After School Community it was obvious there is a significant deficit of sports programs in the Dungog and Stroud areas.  Having grown up in a isolated area, owner and coach, Jen Kendell has developed a program specifically for the country areas.

Gym Matrix has a great range of gymnastics equipment, including 3 balance beams of varying heights, rings, mini-tramp, thick high quality foam floor mats, horizontal bar, paralell bars, uneven bars, vault, foam wedges, parallettes, vault and balance board.

Each week, gymnast's will learn new gymnastics skills and refine those learnt.  They will work on fitness, flexibility, coordination and technique.  With great variety offered you will see a remarkable improvement to your child's coordination and importantly, their confidence.
